Delete your account.

You can delete your sumore account in the app, or request deletion here by email. You do not need to reinstall the app to send a request.

Deleting the app is not account deletion. Your information remains on the server until the account is deleted. Deletion is permanent; a login key cannot restore a deleted account.

In the app

  1. Open Setup → Account → Delete account.
  2. Read the confirmation and type DELETE.
  3. Choose Permanently delete account. On success, sumore signs you out and returns to the welcome screen. If an error appears or the result is unclear, contact us to check the status; a connection failure can occur after the server has already deleted the account.

Without the app

and use the subject [Delete account] sumore. Include your display name, your friend code if you know it, and whether you used iPhone or Android. If you cannot find your friend code, say so in your message.

Reveal the email first, then select the link to open your mail app. Review the message and send it yourself. If no mail app opens, copy the address and subject above into your email service.

Never email your private login key, password, or verification codes. A name or public friend code helps us find an account but does not prove ownership. We will reply to verify ownership before deleting anything. If we cannot verify the account is yours, we cannot safely delete it. Sending the first email alone does not delete the account.

What is deleted

Your account, profile, private login-key records, and associated personal data are removed from the active app database. You lose access to that account and cannot recover it with its old key.

Reports you submitted and reports about you are deleted, including their content snapshots, retry receipts, moderation audit entries, and related notices. Any social restriction currently linked to one of those deleted reports is also removed, including a restriction on someone you reported. A restriction linked to a different retained report is unaffected. Your rule-acceptance, moderator-membership, and own restriction records are removed too.

If you were a reviewing moderator, your identifier is removed from retained audit entries about other accounts; those reports are not deleted just because you reviewed them. Account deletion remains available if your social features are restricted.

What may remain

Your circle’s other members, shared wallet, and shared purchases are not deleted. Shared reward history and some decisions can remain without your account identity to preserve the group’s progress. Provider backups, security records, and records required by law may be retained for applicable periods. Support emails are separate; include a request to delete those too if desired. We will explain any retention relevant to your request.

Deleting an app account does not recall report or support emails already sent to our Gmail inbox or your Sent folder. Mailbox copies require separate handling. Cancelling a report email also does not delete its saved app-database report. See the privacy policy for report data and the manual, unscheduled cleanup process.
