A little kindness around the campfire.
These are the same short community rules shown in sumore. They apply to names, shared app labels, requests, and how you treat people in your circle.
Our community rules
Be kind
Keep your circle kind. No harassment, threats, hateful language, sexual content, impersonation, or spam.
Respect privacy
Do not share someone else’s private information. Keep login keys private, including in reports.
Share thoughtfully
Use names, app labels, and request notes respectfully. Clearly abusive wording may be rejected before sharing.
Look out for each other
You can report a person or request and block people in Circle. Reports are reviewed privately, not shown to the person reported. Do not misuse reports to target someone.
Keep it fair
Content that breaks these rules may be removed. Repeated or serious abuse may restrict social features. Report counts alone never decide a penalty.
Your personal controls stay yours. Even if social features are restricted, you can manage this phone’s limits, use emergency access, leave or block a circle member, recover or delete your account, and submit a report. Accepting the rules is needed for social sharing, not for account deletion or personal screen-time controls.
Report a person or request
- Open Circle. For a name or shared app label, open the person’s options and choose Report person. For an available request, choose Report request.
- Choose a reason and, if helpful, add a short explanation. Do not include login keys or anyone’s unnecessary private information.
- Choose Open report email. sumore first saves a private report, reference, and server-captured copy of the shared content. It then opens a draft to our support team: .
- Review the draft and tap Send in your mail app. Nothing is emailed automatically. If a mail app will not open, copy the saved report details and email them yourself.
The saved report remains if you cancel the draft or it is not delivered. Opening a draft is not proof of delivery. Email text can be edited, so an authorized human operator uses the saved report and snapshot as the review record, not instructions in an email. Support can see the sender address of mail you send; that address and the saved report are not shown to the person reported.
Block or leave a circle
Open a person’s options in Circle, choose Block, and confirm. Blocking also leaves their circle; it does not remove the other person or delete their account. It prevents sharing a circle and new requests between the two accounts while the block remains. Use Circle’s management options to leave without blocking or manage your blocked people. Reporting and blocking are separate choices.
How review works
Authorized human operators can review saved reports privately. A decision can dismiss a report, remove the reported shared text, give a private warning, temporarily restrict social features, or restore access after review. A report or the number of reports does not automatically punish anyone. The text filter is limited and does not catch every harmful message.
When a restriction applies, the account receives a private reason and its duration. Personal screen-time controls and account deletion remain available. This is not a live chat or emergency service, and we do not promise a fixed response time.
Questions or appeals
If you believe a decision was wrong, choose Appeal by email on the app’s community notice, or contact us: . Explain the decision and why it should be reconsidered. Include a report reference if you already have one, but never send your private login key, password, or verification codes. An email address or display name alone does not establish account ownership; any required verification is handled separately.
See our privacy policy for the data saved with reports, who can see it, and manual cleanup. Account deletion deletes associated reports and currently linked restrictions, including reports made by the deleted account; already-sent email copies are handled separately.
